Ride with the Vixens - it's fun:

We have progressed from the “Biker Chicks” – our informal name – to the newly formed Wild West Vixens – a Naughty Gurlz Riding Club. It is about fun and friendship.

Since the Calgary International Motorcycle Show 2002 we have had over 40 new women show interest in the group, and we have nearly 60 on our mailing list.  Time will tell how many become Vixens.  There is no committee or president - just a bundle of women organising great rides and events.  The 2003 motorcycle show saw us gain another dozen women, and we meet new Vixens on the road every time we head out.

We are an independent group of girls who just like to ride and socialise.  We are not interested in big organisational events or creating a lot of work for our members.  Being on the road and getting to know each other, and other groups, is what makes biking fun.  We have an impact, and promote women and motorcycling, simply by being a group.

The bikes, background, ages and ability range wildly which always makes for an interesting day out.  We have members on KZ1000Ltd (it's dead!),750 Zephyr (it's dying!!) and Z1000 (it's brand new!)(me!), 1500 Intruder, T595, 748 Monoposta, Honda Magna, CB750 Nighthawk, Rebel 250, CBR600F, Fireblade CBR900RR, 750 Magna, SV650, 1200 Bandit, etc etc.

We have been showcased on TSN Speedvision, appeared on the A-Channel Big Breakfast and Global Morning TV, and interviewed for a few magazine articles.  We love to ride - so join us if you wish.
